Browser test: Safari vs. Firefox 3 vs. Firefox 2 vs. IE7
Hedley sent me this web based SunSpider JavaScript Benchmark tool for testing browsers so I decided to run a quick test in all the browsers I have running on my 3 machines. Notice these aren’t all apples-to-apples comparisons because tests were ran on different machines but directionally, Safari appears to be the fastest browser and Firefox 3 appear to have significant speed improvements compared to its predecessor.
